About Mitchiners

My name is James Mitchiner. I am a solicitor based in London working with national clients at a local and international level. I advise on non-contentious commercial advice and contentious work in the courts in specialist areas of law relating to branding, IT & e-commerce and technology & manufacturing.

My work is based on many years acting for clients at major international law firms. I acted in a range of industries, from chemical, pharmaceutical and petroleum sectors to international finance & banking operations and hotels & leisure groups. Using my local and international networks of professional advisers I continue to develop clients’ businesses now as principal of Mitchiners.

I initially trained as a Biochemist, was published for work relating to auto-immune diseases, and moved on to top the University of London intercollegiate LLM as part of my legal training. I have spoken at international conferences in London and New York on patent, copyright and trade mark matters and have trained and examined trainee lawyers across the country
